For an 8th straight year the Immune Force One team is participating in Le Week-end to end cancer and raise money for a great cause. You can make a difference by joining our team or donating generously to any of our team members. Together, with your support, we can reach our fundraising goal!
Our team organizes weekend trainings rides which are not mandatory. The rides are open to everyone of all levels and are there to give you an opportunity to meet some of your teammates and develop your talents and abilities on the bike. You will also receive a gift of a 2024 team jersey as a thank you for supporting the cause along with us! To receive your free team jersey simply register to the event and we ask you to raise 500$ for research or to do your best.

Since 2017, the Immune Force One team has raised over $500,000. The money raised through the Foundation has categorically changed the course of Dr. Johnson’s research. By raising money, her team was able to launch pilot projects. They subsequently secured $1.5 million in grant money because they had samples to demonstrate that they were able to
complete their projects.
Tissue banking for more personalized medical treatments
The JGH Foundation has been instrumental in helping Dr. Johnson obtain the funds to set up a lymphoma tissue bank. She is the Director of the lymphoma banking activities within the Banque de Cellules Leucémiques du Québec (BCLQ) at the JGH. The tissue bank has expanded to include not only tumour tissue but also normal immune cells from patients with lymphoma. Studying these samples could show us how to harness the power of the immune cells to fight cancer and thus provide more personalized medical treatments for patients.
