I am thrilled to be participating this year in Le Week-end pour combattre le cancer, a signature event of the Jewish General Hospital Foundation benefitting its world-renowned Segal Cancer Centre. Since 2009, supporters like you have raised over $63 million from cancer fundraising events like this one.

But as you know, the fight is not over.

On July 7, I will be cycling 113km with hundreds of other Le Week-end participants in support of those who have been affected by cancer—cherished family members, friends and neighbours—in order to fund vital cancer research and innovation. And there is no better place to invest those funds than at our very own Segal Cancer Centre.

I’ve set a goal to raise $3000, and I can’t do it without you! No amount is too little and every dollar can make a real difference.
